Gift Aid

Our Scout Group heavily relies on the income generated from Gift Aid, the government scheme that gives us 25 pence for every pound donated to us, which includes the membership fees you pay for your young person.

When you join us, you will be sent a communication from your section leader asking you to to opt in or out of the Gift Aid scheme. It doesn’t cost you a penny and it takes less than 20 seconds to opt in/out.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
