Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and are between the ages of 6 – 8. We meet weekly to participate in a wide range of activities, including games, crafts, looking at the world we live in, challenges and adventures – which all help them achieve their badges and gain confidence. They can also make lots of new friends (and these could be for life) if they continue with scouting.

Beavers have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers in a very safe and supportive environment. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home, so it is a real adventure for them!

We currently have one Beaver Colony and 25 active members. If your child would like to join us, or you’ve got an interest in helping us out then please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!

We meet on Friday nights from 5:30-7:00 pm with 25 active members.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
